Twice a month, students attend exclusive lunchtime talks delivered by experienced professionals from diverse industries. These sessions are designed to complement academic learning by providing practical insights into the working world.

Through the Careers Spotlight Series, students gain direct access to professionals who share their experiences, career journeys, and advice.

Recent speakers have included:

• Persimmon Homes, who introduced students to the many career opportunities within the construction sector from design and engineering to business and finance.
• An Automotive Engineer, who spoke candidly about their educational path and career progression, reinforcing the importance of resilience, adaptability, and pursuing personal interests.

University Insights:

University College London (UCL):

Recently, we welcomed Sarah from University College London (UCL), currently ranked 9th globally, to speak with our Year 11 and Year 12 students. This insightful session provided a valuable introduction to university life in the UK and what it can offer Bosworth students.

Students gained an overview of key topics, including the admissions process, writing effective personal statements, and student accommodation. The session also explored what makes UCL unique, helping students better understand how to identify the right university environment for their future ambitions.
