At Bosworth Independent School, boarding life lies at the heart of our international community. Our boarding houses offer students from around the world a genuine home-from-home — a safe, comfortable, and caring environment where they can live, learn, and grow with confidence.
A Safe and Supportive Home
All our boarding houses are within easy walking distance of the main school buildings in beautiful Northamptonshire — one of England’s most peaceful and well-connected regions.
Each house is supervised by dedicated House Parents who provide round-the-clock care. They act as students’ family away from home, ensuring every boarder feels settled, supported, and valued as an individual.
Warm and Comfortable Accommodation
Our boarding accommodation is bright, comfortable, and fully equipped. Students enjoy well-furnished bedrooms, shared common rooms for relaxation, and quiet study spaces that encourage focus and independence.
Excellent Catering and Daily Life
Boarding at Bosworth is fully catered, with a wide variety of nutritious meals served in the main school canteen three times a day.
Menus reflect the international character of our community, featuring familiar dishes from around the world alongside traditional British favourites.
Each boarding house also includes shared kitchen facilities, allowing students to prepare snacks or simple meals outside formal meal times — a popular way to share their own cultures and cuisines with friends.

Boarding for Ages 11-18
Limetrees is housed in an impressive, Victorian-era brick building. It offers single-sex accommodation for girls. It offers a welcoming home-from- home environment for all our boarders. The accommodation is safe and secure throughout. Shared facilities include a large common room for study and social activities, a shared kitchen and laundry facilities.
Location
Limetrees is a 15 minute walk from the Newton Building, the main school building, and a 7 minute walk to Bosworth Hall, which houses the school canteen and excellent science labs.
Facilities
• Well-equipped single and twin rooms for sleep and study – 32 single rooms and 6 twin rooms.
• 30 en-suite rooms, high quality shared bathrooms for other rooms.
• Shared common room with space to study and socialise.

Calderfield is a former Victorian-era home that now offers a welcoming home-from- home environment for all our boarders. Calderfield offers single sex accommodation for boys. The accommodation is safe and secure throughout. Shared facilities include a common room for study and social activities, a shared kitchen and laundry facilities.
Location
Calderfield is an 7 minute walk from the Newton Building, the main school building, and a 15 minute walk to Bosworth Hall, which houses the school canteen and excellent science labs.

Farthings is a repurposed family home that offers single sex accommodation for boys. It offers a welcoming home-from- home environment for all our boarders. The accommodation is safe and secure throughout. Shared facilities include a common room for study and social activities, a shared kitchen and laundry facilities.

Farthings is a 4 minute walk from the Newton Building, the main school building, and a 4 minute walk to Bosworth Hall, which houses the school canteen and excellent science labs.

Victoria House is a large Victorian home that offers single sex accommodation for girls. It offers a welcoming home-from- home environment for all our boarders. St George’s offers single sex accommodation for boys. It offers a welcoming home-from- home environment for all our boarders. The accommodation is safe and secure throughout. Shared facilities include a common room for study and social activities, a shared kitchen and laundry facilities.

St George’s is a 12 minute walk from the Newton Building, the main school building, and a 5 minute walk to Bosworth Hall, which houses the school canteen and excellent science labs.

Boarding for Ages 18+
Poplars offers single sex accommodation for our over eighteen students. It offers a welcoming home-from- home environment for all our boarders. The accommodation is safe and secure throughout. Shared facilities include a common room for study and social activities, a shared kitchen and laundry facilities.

Poplars is a 16 minute walk from the Newton Building, the main school building, and a 8 minute walk to Bosworth Hall, which houses the school canteen and excellent science labs.
