Celebrating Bosworth’s 2026 GCSE Results

Students at Bosworth Independent School are celebrating today as they receive their GCSE results and prepare for the next stage of their education.

This year’s results are the outcome of sustained effort, determination and a willingness to respond positively to challenges. They also reflect the individual attention, academic guidance and encouragement provided by teachers and staff throughout each student’s time at Bosworth.

At Bosworth, success is about helping each student achieve their personal best while developing the confidence and independence needed for life beyond GCSEs.

Students have been encouraged to flourish through the support, challenge and opportunities available to them. Small classes have enabled teachers to understand their individual strengths, identify where further support is needed and help them make progress.

They have been encouraged to aspire by setting ambitious goals, embracing new opportunities and continuing to work when their studies have been demanding.

They have also been part of a community in which they can belong. Bosworth brings together British and international students from a wide range of backgrounds. Each student is known and valued as an individual and encouraged to contribute to school life.

For students who joined Bosworth from overseas, completing their GCSEs may also represent success in adapting to the British education system, developing their English and settling into a new school and country.

Ready for the Next Step

Our GCSE results provide an important foundation for further study. Many of this year’s students will now progress to A levels, where they will have the opportunity to explore their chosen subjects in greater depth.

They move forward with more than their examination results. During their GCSE studies, students have developed stronger study habits, greater independence and a clearer understanding of their individual interests and ambitions. Study GCSEs at Bosworth Independent School

Bosworth offers a two-year GCSE programme for students aged 14 and above and an intensive one-year Fast Track programme for students usually aged 15 and above.

Students on the two-year programme generally study between seven and nine GCSE subjects. The Fast Track programme normally allows students to study five subjects over one year. Both programmes begin in September and combine a choice of subjects with small classes and individual academic support. British and international students study together in a welcoming school community, preparing them for A levels and the next stage of their education.
